- What types of personal information do we collect and how do we use it?
- Account information. When you register with us, we collect your name and email account information.
We will only use the information that we collect about exclusively to process (filter) your email and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We do not sell/rent your details to advertising companies.
We will not e-mail you unless technical reasons makes it necessary for us to contact you (for example, when your account is about to expire).
- Do you share/sell my email address to other companies?
- No, we do not sell, share, trade or make available your email address or other personally identifiable information in any way shape or form to anyone outside SenzaSpam
- Cookies and log information.
- Cookies. A cookie is a small data file that is sent to your computer when you first visit a website. As with most website cookies, our cookies include an identification number that is unique to the computer you are using. This identifier helps us better understand our user base and how they are using our site and services.
When you visit SenzaSpam and create a SenzaSpam account, we set and access cookies on your computer. We use cookies for a number of reasons, such as recognizing you when you visit the site, displaying the site according to your chosen user settings for language, and maintaining the security of your account.
We believe our cookies improve the quality of our services. If you prefer, however, you can reset your browser so that it refuses all cookies, or notifies you when a cookie is being sent. Although you will still be able to use some parts of SenzaSpam, other parts of the site may not be available if you refuse cookies.
Log information. When you use your SenzaSpam account, we collect certain information (the same information that most web sites log when they are accessed). This information, contained in the "header" of your request to access the SenzaSpam page, usually includes the browser type you used, your Internet Protocol address, and the date and time of day. In addition, we log the unique ID provided by our cookie and the URL of the last site you visited.
- Data backup.
- We use industry standard backup system to ensure your data are safe in case of a system error or hardware failure.
Copies of your data may be retained offline for a certain number of days before being permanently deleted.
Our backup system can only be used to recover from a general system failure, it cannot be used to (for example) undo a user-caused miss operation.
Backup data are stored in a secure location always monitored and with limited access.
- Children's Privacy
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
- Account cancellation.
- In case you cancel your account, we will retain only your name and email address for book-keeping purposes only and they will not be used for any other purpose (including, but not limited to, selling your data to a third party advertising company).
Your email password your system settings and all of your email in quarantine will be permanently deleted.
We will not delete any email that is currently in your mailbox at the time you cancel your account.
- Account suspension.
- If, in our sole decision, we decide to suspend your account, your SenzaSpam setting will be frozen and you will be unable to access your account until the reason that caused the suspension is resolved.
